Job summary

VillageMD is seeking an X-Ray & Medical Technologist to perform quality X-ray imaging and document encounters in the EMR with accuracy. You will support clinical teams, coordinate with radiologists, and assist with procedures and EKGs as needed.

Ideal candidates will have an accredited X-ray Technologist program, 4–6 months of experience, and BLS certification. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited X-ray Technologist program.
• 4-6 months experience as a X-ray Technologist.
• Explain, process, and position patient for X-ray; determining patient’s needs by reading instructions from physician.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Passion for compassionate care and patient comfort.
• Bilingual language skills preferred based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Take good quality X-ray images following protocol efficiently and accurately.
• Document encounters in the EMR promptly and accurately.
• Perform common X-ray studies within target time frames.
• Coordinate with care team, Aftercare, and radiologists for study communication.
• Assist the physician with procedures and EKGs as needed.
• Maintain equipment, stock, and QA logs; ensure patient safety and comfort.
