Job summary

Patient First in Annandale, VA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic x-rays and manage related documentation. You will operate x-ray equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure accurate labeling and filing of images within the electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration and Virginia license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; keyboarding experience.
• 1 year of clerical or clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct positioning and exposure.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Document and label x-ray copies accurately per Patient First guidelines.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Operate and understand the automated medical records system.
• Restock supplies and keep the work area clean and compliant with OSHA.
