Job summary

Patient First in Chesapeake, VA is hiring for a Radiologic Technologist to perform quality X-ray exams, ensure safety, and support physicians, extenders, and nurses. You will assist with patient triage, obtain vital signs, prepare patients for treatment, file x-ray paperwork, and help supervise externs during on‑the‑job training.

ARRT registration or Limited Radiologic Technologist program completion is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registration or graduate of a Limited Radiologic Technologist program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality X-rays using proper positioning and radiation exposure.
• Implement safety procedures for patients and staff to avoid unnecessary exposure.
• Assist Physicians, Extenders, and Nurses with patient treatment and care.
• File and maintain all X-ray paperwork and records.
• Supervise externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants in the room during exams.
