Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging is seeking a full-time X-ray Technologist to join our imaging team in Melrose Park, IL. The role requires general radiography skills, with preferred IV placement and contrast administration support in CT/advanced imaging.

You will ensure patient safety and comfort, perform diagnostic radiographic exams, maintain imaging quality, and document procedures in a fast-paced, HIPAA-compliant environment. ARRT registration and IL licensure are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) and Illinois state licensure required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Position Summary: X-ray Technologist

Villa Park is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general radiography and preferably trained in IV placement and contrast administration. This role supports a fast-paced clinical environment and requires strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills.

Location: On-site Melrose Park

Position: Full-time X-ray Technologist

Days/Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards

Requirements

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent
• Illinois state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate from accredited radiologic technology program
• CPR-BLS Certification
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• IV placement and contrast administration (for CT/advanced imaging support), preferred (will train)
• Prior experience in outpatient imaging or hospital setting
