Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging in Bedford Park, IL is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for PRN Saturday coverage. The role performs diagnostic radiographic exams, ensuring patient safety and imaging quality.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent required.
• Illinois state licensure as Radiologic Technologist required.
• Graduate from accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS Certification required, strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards

Requirements

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent
