NYU Langone Health is seeking a X-Ray Technologist for a Monday–Friday 12am–8am shift at our Brooklyn location. You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidate must have an Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology and NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technician, with a permit accepted in lieu of full licensure when applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in radiologic technology required.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License required.
• Permits accepted in lieu of license when applicable.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per protocols and orders.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and safety for patients.
• Utilize markers, shielding, immobilization devices, and positioning aids appropriately.
• Generate high-quality digital images and hard copies when needed.
• Review images for quality before submission to PACS/EMR.
• Follow radiographic requisition instructions and special patient needs.
