Job summary

Wellnow-Urgent-Care is seeking a versatile X-Ray Technologist to perform radiologic exams in a fast-paced clinic setting across Euclid and Mentor-on-the-Lake locations. This role combines RT/GXMO duties with patient care and registration responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will hold RT or GXMO certification, have 1–2 years in a physician practice, be proficient with EMR systems, and possess CPR certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.

Qualifications

• RT or GXMO certification required.
• 1–2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic.
• Basic computer skills including EMR.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to balance multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-Ray equipment to take radiographic films as directed by the APP or Physician.
• Ensure radiology equipment is functioning and report malfunctions to manager.
• Logs radiologic procedures and reports results.
• Registration duties and patient flow management.
• Travel to care centers within designated region.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA).
• Assist providers with exams and testing (pelvic exams, eye/ear irrigations, I&Ds).
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, glucose, urinalysis, etc.).
• Dispense and document medications and other treatment modalities.
• Maintain sterile technique and autoclave usage.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock necessary medical supplies.
