Midstate Radiology Associates in Vernon, CT is seeking a Full Time X-Ray Technologist for the Vernon Imaging location.

You will perform X-Ray and Bone Density exams with the opportunity to train in Mammography. Schedule is Mon - Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with competitive compensation and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for well-qualified candidates.

Join our team to operate radiology equipment, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT (ARRT).
• CPR certification may be required.
• AS degree in related field.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic radiography studies by following established protocols and selecting correct exposure factors to produce a technically excellent image.
• May participate in complex invasive radiological procedures assisting the radiologist.
• Practices radiation safety and uses protection devices to comply with safety standards.
• Maintains radiological equipment and cleans work area after each use.
• Shows yearly competencies and prepares examinations for interpretation by radiologists.
• Inputs data in PACs and RIS systems and tracks procedures for accurate charges.
• Provides supervision and instruction to students as required.
