Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for our Vernon Imaging location. This full-time role involves performing X-Ray and bone density exams, with opportunity to train in Mammography.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in Vernon, CT. The position offers compensation based on qualifications and experience with a range of $31.00 to $44.29 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for well-qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification/registration required.
• AMA-approved radiology program completion.
• Associates or AS degree in related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification may be required and CE credits maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiography studies following established protocols to produce high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Assist radiologist in complex invasive procedures and produce images as needed.
• Maintain radiation safety and use protective devices per standards and regulations.
• Maintain radiology equipment and clean/disinfect workspace after each use; report hazards.
• Input data into RIS and track charges accurately.
