Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• CT state license.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure.
• Individual exceptions may apply only under the discretion of the Medical and Administrative Director

Responsibilities

• Operates radiology equipment and positions patients to obtain diagnostic images.
• Assist radiologist in complex procedures and image production.
• Practice radiation safety and protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and clean radiology equipment and work area.
• Demonstrate yearly competencies and adapt to patient needs.
• Prepare examinations for radiologist interpretation and input data in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain computer skills for reports and correspondence.
• Collaborate with team to provide quality service.
