Overview

Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Join Concentra as an X Ray Technologist in our Float Pool North location in Johns Creek, GA. Play a vital role in patient care, performing routine x-ray, medical, and testing procedures under supervision, while supporting various facility tasks including registration and referral management. Ensure quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

X-ray Technician Duties

• Prepare patients, assist with positioning, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort during x-ray exams.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, adjusting controls to specifications.
• Use radiation safety measures and protection devices.
• Maintain and report on radiologic equipment functionality.
• Follow workflows, complete documentation, and ensure all radiology reports are accurately entered into EMR.

Medical Support Specialist Duties

• Perform drug and alcohol testing, physical examinations, and ancillary tests.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Apply bandages, dispense medications, and perform routine medical procedures as ordered.
• Maintain supplies, clean and operate medical devices, and ensure proper documentation.
• Support patient flow, communicate wait times, and perform clerical tasks including front office duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State-approved Limited Scope Technician certification and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• At least six months of medical assistant and x-ray experience.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred.
