Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Evening shift (3p-11p, Monday–Friday with alternating weekends and holidays). The role operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs and digital images under the supervision of a radiologist and department supervisor.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program with a New York State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible within six months) is required; ARRT certification is preferred to join our premier diagnostic team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs and/or computer images.
• Work under the direction of a radiologist and a department supervisor.
• Contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs and/or computer images of designated portions of the body, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Use your expertise in X-Ray technology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases. Expand your knowledge, alongside the most highly respected professionals in the field.

This is a evening shift position working 3p-11p Monday-Friday w/ alternate weekends and assigned holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior experience as a X-Ray Technologist in a hospital environment
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Required Criteria

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiology
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license from Department of Health (or able to obtain within 6 months of hire

Salary Range:

$46.66 - $57.56/Hourly
