Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital seeks a skilled X-Ray Technologist for a part-time daytime schedule. You will operate x-ray equipment to obtain radiographs and advanced images, collaborating with the surgical and emergency teams to support accurate diagnosis.

Strong candidates will have ARRT certification or equivalent, plus required education and NYS licensure. On-site roles require commuting within a reasonable distance to NYP and offer comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs and/or computer images.
• Assist with diagnosis and imaging in OR and ER.
• Maintain high quality image results and patient safety.
• No supervisory responsibilities; contribute as a technical team member.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs and/or computer images of designated portions of the body. Take the opportunity to work with our Operating Room and Emergency Room. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Use your expertise in X-Ray technology to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases.

This is a part-time position, working Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:00am - 6:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• ARRT certification
• Previous hospital-based Xray Tech experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
