Overview

X-Ray Technologist - Rad Tech - Full Time - Evenings at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Technologist to operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs and computer images of designated portions of the body, with opportunities to work in the Operating Room and Emergency Room. This is a full-time, evening shift position (Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm). It is a technical role with no supervisory responsibility, contributing to a premier level of quality in support of a world-class clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs and/or computer images of designated portions of the body.
• Collaborate with the Operating Room and Emergency Room teams to support diagnostic imaging needs.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety in accordance with department procedures.
• Utilize expertise in X-Ray technology to assist with the diagnosis of complex cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• High School Diploma/GED
• ARRT certification
