Location:

Lancaster General Health Physicians Orthopedics (LGHP) in Lancaster, PA

Sign-On Bonus:

Up to $5,000.00 (prorated based on FTE/hours worked per week) with a 2-year commitment. External candidates only.

Schedule:

Full time (40 hours per week/1.0 FTE). Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. No weekends, no on-call.

Position Summary:

Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic procedures through proper patient positioning, technique selection, application of immobilization and radiation protection devices.

Essential Functions:
  1. Performs all routine diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as established by LG protocols, policies, and procedures.
  2. Receives requests, checks for special instructions, and consults with Radiologists as necessary.
  3. Greets patients, confirms identities, and explains procedures.
  4. Operates hospital computer systems, documents patient information and history.
  5. Completes examinations, billing, and other paperwork as required.
  6. Utilizes all computer-related equipment appropriately.
  7. May require travel to various site locations.
Secondary Functions:
  1. Performs safety inspections and records quality control activities.
  2. Ensures compliance with safety procedures and maintains inventory supplies.
  3. Participates in clinical education and on-call responsibilities as required.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiological Technology School.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • CPR certification required.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of clinical experience beyond training.
