Fast Pace Health is hiring an X-Ray Tech in Watson, LA to provide clinical and administrative support under supervision. You will assist with patient care, coordinate imaging orders, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of medical information. The role involves labeling, image review, and collaboration with radiology and clinic teams.

The position emphasizes patient service, accurate imaging, and contributing to a positive work environment in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT License and State License required and must be active.
• TB and IV Certification required to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with CPR is acceptable in some levels as described.

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist as per job description.
• Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team while adhering to company policies.
• Monitor and track x-ray orders for timely completion and submission.
• Assist patient positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Label laterality correctly and ensure artifacts are minimized with proper technique.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain health information management standards.
• Review images for provider initial read and forward final images to Radiology group.
• Participate in compliance training and onboarding of new employees.
