Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography in a specialty outpatient clinic setting, ensuring high-quality images and strict radiation safety compliance for safe patient care.

You will prepare patients, verify orders in the EMR, operate radiographic equipment including C-arms, and transmit images to PACS while maintaining clean, stocked imaging rooms and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and state licensure/certification.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices.
• Experience with PACS and digital imaging systems preferred.
• Ability to operate radiographic equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and verify imaging orders in the EMR.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams using proper positioning and technique.
• Operate C-arm and assist with procedures as indicated.
• Transmit images to PACS and ensure accurate documentation for billing.
• Maintain imaging rooms, stock supplies, and uphold infection control standards.
• Communicate imaging needs effectively with physicians and clinic staff.
