Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic exams in accordance with physicians' directions and radiology protocols.
• Review the referring order to identify the body parts requiring imaging.
• Explain the test to patients and ensure proper positioning.
• Consult with a radiologist or senior technologist if there is uncertainty before proceeding.
• Adjust X-ray equipment controls for imaging, ensuring safety and quality.
• Review X-ray images for clarity and suitability before patient departure; redo as needed.
