Job summary

ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, TX, part of Radiology Partners, seeks a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic examinations following established protocols and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
• Certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) by the State Medical Board.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Ability to deal efficiently and courteously with all clinical personnel and patients, and to establish effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform all radiographic examinations and equipment operation in assigned area.
• Identify patient, review requisition, and confirm examination.
• Apply patient care and recognize conditions essential for successful procedure.
• Review exam notes and special instructions from referral.
• Maintain quality assurance/ control records as required by credentialing bodies.
