Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine seeks an X-Ray Technologist to operate X-ray equipment and assist in diagnosis under general guidance. This role offers a $10,000 new hire bonus with payout milestones and requires NY license in Radiographic Technology and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities include patient history entry, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, completing documentation, and performing radiographs and bone density studies as requested. About 35 weekly hours, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Approximately 2 years of experience as an X-Ray technologist preferred.
• Graduate of approved school of radiography.

Responsibilities

• Inputs patient history information at time of exam/test into the practice management system.
• Ensures patient safety is maintained at all times.
• Maintains a sterile environment and follows infection control precautions.
• Completes necessary written documentation for patient care and billing.
• Performs radiographs and bone density studies as requested; explains procedures to patients.
