Weill Cornell Medicine in New York's Upper East Side is seeking an MRI Technologist for WCINYP MRI. Under general guidance, the technologist operates MRI equipment to support accurate imaging and safe patient care.

The role requires approx 2 years of MRI experience, graduation from an approved radiography program, current NYS radiologic license and ARRT MR certification, and BLS. The position is non-exempt with a 35-hour work week and includes a $10,000 new hire bonus with payout details.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Graduate of approved school of radiography.
• Current NYS license in Radiographic Technology and ARRT MR certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Operates MRI equipment to assist in accurate imaging and safe patient care.
• Prepares and administers contrast media within department procedures.
• Greets patients, triages and ensures patient safety throughout the exam.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and monitors equipment performance.
