Jobot is hiring a full-time X-Ray Technologist in Waterbury, CT for a 40-hour daytime schedule with on-site work. This permanent role offers rotating Saturday coverage and opportunities to cross-train in other imaging modalities while advancing your radiology career.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification – RT(R) required.
• Active Connecticut Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Working knowledge of diagnostic radiography, patient positioning, imaging equipment, and radiation safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Position patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure proper exposure factors.
• Review images for technical quality and document exams in RIS/PACS.
• Manage imaging workflow, prior studies, STAT exams, and related documentation.
• Support coverage across locations as needed and maintain patient flow.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
• Position patients, operate imaging equipment, select appropriate exposure factors, and follow radiation safety standards
• Review images for technical quality and accurately document exams in RIS/PACS
• Manage imaging workflow, prior studies, STAT exams, and related documentation
• Help maintain efficient patient flow and provide coverage across locations as needed
