Job Summary

Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Assist with administrative and clinical needs such as patient registration and medical assisting duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately
• Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging
• Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques
• Process images, review for proper identification and quality, and prepare images for physician reading
• Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with policies
• Assist providers with prescribed treatments according to standards and protocols
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and arrange repairs
• Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed
• Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant if needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1-year related experience/training. ARRT-registered or eligible preferred. Licensed per state regulation. In some states, Medical Assistant Certification, Practical Nursing License, EMT, or Paramedic certification is acceptable.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
