Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Medical Assistants / X-Ray or Radiology Technicians to join our healthcare team in Donelson, TN. Both full-time and PRN opportunities are available.

Job Summary

The role involves greeting patients, activating patient files, and supporting patients and medical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times; guide them through treatment steps.
• Provide solutions to patient issues and recognize emergent situations.
• Follow up on lab and x-ray results timely and accurately.
• Assist with patient check-in/out and obtain vital signs and medical histories.
• Support procedures, lab work, and radiologic processes, ensuring safety and proper documentation.
• Maintain equipment and exam rooms, adhere to infection control and confidentiality policies.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other procedures as trained under provider supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
• Valid State License for X-Ray performance.
• BLS Certification.
