Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; Bachelor's preferred.
  • State licensure required; ARRT CT certification preferred.
  • 2+ years CT experience preferred; equivalent education/experience accepted.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images with attention to safety.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and proper documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure.
  • Maintain patient records and imaging data in the EHR.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Stay updated on radiology advancements through training.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (Bachelor's preferred). Additional state requirements as applicable.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.
  • State licensed
  • ARRT (R) certification (CT preferred)
  • BLS
  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
