Job summary

Actalent, Inc. in Freehold, NJ, seeks a Technologist with orthopedic office experience to join a fast-paced team.

You will perform medical assistant duties, explain procedures to patients, and ensure a safe, professional environment while handling both front and back office tasks. duties include capturing and reviewing x-ray images, documenting imaging, and supporting patient care for about 30 patients daily, with weekday hours and no weekends.

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an orthopedic office and be skilled in both front and back office duties. The Technologist will be responsible for explaining procedures to patients, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and performing medical assistant duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience with Advanced MD and preferably Epic EMR systems.
• Front and back office experience.
• Excellent customer service and patient care skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in handling upset patients and providing excellent customer service.

Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced orthopedic office with flexible scheduling. The office is open from Monday through Friday, no weekends required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Freehold, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
