Orthopaedic-Associates-of-Muskego is seeking an X-ray Technologist to join our busy orthopedic clinic. The role focuses on accurate imaging, patient care, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting with strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Completion of an ARRT‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to lift and position patients for X-ray procedures.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records (EMR) and computers.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment and prepare imaging room with necessary supplies.
• Assist physicians by providing radiographic images for patient care in the orthopedic clinic.
• Maintain safety procedures and regulatory standards in radiology.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiology in daily tasks.

Salary range- $58,240.00 - $72,800.00

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The daily tasks of an X-ray Technologist require precise work and attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures.
• The X-ray Technologist operates x-ray equipment and prepares imaging room with equipment and supplies. This position requires both desk and x-ray unit work including storage of images.
• They have frequent contact with employees, providers, patients, and their families. As an x-ray Technologist you’ll work as part of the team to assist physicians by providing patient care services in an efficient, customer service oriented manner in the orthopedic practice.
• The person in this position demonstrates the knowledge and skills to work in a fast paced clinic with occasional high pressure or emergent situations.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge of radiologic standards, requirements and regulations
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the position
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiology
• Use and apply medical terminology appropriately
• Ability to lift and position patients for the type of x-ray procedure required
• Ability to keep and maintain records
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to relate sensitively to patients needs

Requirements

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma
• Completion of course in Radiologic Technology approved by ARRT
• Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Current certification in CPR
