Job summary

Jefferson Radiology in Connecticut is seeking a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team. You will produce and evaluate general diagnostic images as ordered by the referring physician, and you may perform fluoroscopy, densitometry, and minimally invasive procedures as described in the protocol manual.

The role requires CT radiologic license in Connecticut, ARRT certification, CPR (BLS), and experience with RIS/PACS, plus excellent communication and patient care skills.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Radiologic License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR (BLS) Certification required.
• Experience with RIS/PACS preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required.

Responsibilities

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team!

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a talented X-Ray Tech to provide excellent patient care by producing and evaluating general diagnostic images as ordered by the referring physician. Performs diagnostic general x-ray exams, fluoroscopy, and bone densitometry exams as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity. May perform minimally invasive procedures. Operates all relevant equipment and computer systems, including Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival & Communication System (PACS), with proficiency.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Connecticut State Radiologic License, required
• ARRT Certification, required
• CPR (BLS) Certification, required
• Experience with RIS/PACS, preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication and patient care skills.

COMPENSATION:

The hourly range for this position is $30.00-36.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
