Job summary

A leading radiology practice in Connecticut is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide patient-focused care by producing and evaluating mammography and x-ray images. The ideal candidate will have a Connecticut State Radiologic License and ARRT Certification. This role offers a competitive pay range of $37.00 - $49.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Connecticut State Radiologic License required.
ARRT Certification required.
CPR (BLS) Certification required.
ARRT Mammography certification preferred, to be obtained post-hire if not held.

Role and Responsibilities

Jefferson Radiology is seeking a patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our growing team!

Summary: The Mammography Technologist provides excellent patient care by producing and evaluating screening and diagnostic general x-ray and mammography images as ordered by the referring physician. The successful Mammography Technologist is a “super user” on JR X-Ray and Mammography equipment and demonstrates competency in Mammography examinations and patient care.

Qualifications

Connecticut State Radiologic License, required
ARRT Certification, required
CPR (BLS) Certification, required
ARRT Mammography certification, preferred. Candidates without their Mammography certification will be expected to obtain Mammography certification within 12 months from date of hire or 6 months from becoming board eligible.
Bachelor’s degree in science-related field and experience and training in Bone Densitometry, preferred.
Experience with radiology information systems, preferred.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills.

Pay range for this position is $37.00 - $49.50.
