Job Summary

Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Assist with administrative and clinical needs such as patient registration and medical assisting duties.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and explain procedures compassionately
  • Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
  • Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques
  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality, and prepare images for physician review
  • Utilize digital and non-digital imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with policies
  • Assist providers with prescribed treatments as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
  • Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed
  • Serve as Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant if needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1-year related experience. ARRT-registered or eligible preferred. Must be licensed per state regulation. Additional certifications such as Medical Assistant, Practical Nursing, EMT, or Paramedic may be acceptable depending on the state.
