Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for radiologic procedures, operate radiographic equipment, and protect patients and staff from radiation hazards.

You will take X-rays, adjust controls, process films, and ensure reports are available to physicians in a timely manner. High school diploma and radiologic tech credentials are required; an Associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ basic x-ray operator experience (preferred).
• Must communicate in English and be able to float to other FHMG practices when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patient, self and staff from radiation hazards.
• Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Adjusts radiographic controls, positions patients, processes film, and checks image clarity.
