The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology, BLS CPR, and Basic X-Ray Machine Operator certification, with opportunities for professional growth within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• Licenses/certifications: BLS CPR and Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO).
• Willingness to float to other FHMG practices as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects safety.
• Takes x-rays following procedures, sets up radiographic equipment.
• Selects ionizing factors and adjusts radiographic controls.
• Positions patients and captures radiographs as ordered.
• Processes film, checks image quality, and files results.
• Maintains records, logs, and reports for the department.
• Performs quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintains darkroom and x-ray room cleanliness and stock.
