Job summary

Humanitary Medical Center in Lakeland, FL, seeks an X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging records. The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic technology program, current X-Ray certification, and a valid state license.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current X-Ray Technician certification from a recognized body.
• Valid state license to practice as an X-Ray Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain and operate X-ray equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging results.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and assist in patient care.
