Job summary

Concentra is looking for an X-ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist in Lexington, KY. You will perform routine x-ray, medical, and testing procedures under supervision and support in front/back office duties to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring safety, and maintaining equipment. The role emphasizes delivering quality patient care and a positive experience in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist in positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure radiology safety measures and protection.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain equipment.
• Follow radiology workflow and documentation procedures in EMR.
• Maintain x-ray equipment calibration and QA/QC procedures.
