Job summary

Concentra is seeking an X-ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist to perform routine X-ray exams and assist in medical testing and patient care. You will support registration, documentation, and referral management while ensuring safety and quality across radiology workflows.

The role requires handling both clinical and clerical tasks, ensuring a positive patient experience and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. Training and ongoing competency development are included.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment and document QA/QC.
• Assist in DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing and other medical tasks.
• Handle front office duties and patient flow as needed.
