Job description

Join to apply for the X Ray Technician role at Premier Orthopaedics.

Busy orthopedic practice looking for an X-ray technician.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpreting the order for the test to determine what body parts need imaging.
2. Explaining the test to patients and positioning them to make the test possible.
3. Setting the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging.
4. Checking X-ray images and retaking them as needed to ensure clarity.
5. Cleaning and performing routine maintenance tasks to keep X-ray equipment operating smoothly.
6. Participating in quality control and quality assurance studies.
7. Sending X-ray images to other medical providers for reading.
8. Inventorying and stocking films and radiologic supplies.
9. Updating patient records with pertinent information.
10. Performing other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

1. Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state, and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
2. One year of experience is desirable.
3. Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
