X‑Ray Technician – Naperville – Part‑Time
Hours: 24 hours per week, 3 days per week. Schedule is varied, Monday–Friday 7:00 am–9:00 pm, with weekends and travel as needed.

Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as directed by the radiologist
- Position patient on the exam table and use immobilization devices to obtain the requested views
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation
- Move x‑ray equipment, set exposure factors such as time and distance, and practice radiation protection techniques
- Obtain the patient’s pertinent medical history
- Maintain crash cart, inventory, and OSHA compliance
- Assist with film quality control and maintain equipment
- Work evenings, holidays, and provide department operation coverage as required
- Report to the lead technologist for work assignments and assist the manager with expediting patient workflow
- Demonstrate teamwork, accept constructive criticism, and follow work rules
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from a two‑year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: minimum 6 months; preferred 2 years in a related radiology role
- Must be AART registered or eligible and IDNS licensed
- CPR certification
Base pay range: $28.84–$38.90, based on skills, experience, education, certifications, geography, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
