Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiological Technology program; Medical Assistant program preferred.
• ARRT registration or eligible; Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
• Minimum two years of hands-on X-ray experience in outpatient/urgent care settings.
• Proficient with EMR systems and standard healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations with proper positioning, exposure, and radiation safety.
• Provide dual clinical and medical assisting support—vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and room preparation.
• Ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, OSHA guidelines, and QA standards are followed.
• Document imaging parameters in EMR and manage digital image files and referrals.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and explain procedures to reduce anxiety.
