Job summary

Balance Health is seeking a reliable X-ray Technician for a full-time role in Pleasanton, CA. You will take patient images and coordinate with clinicians, while assisting with select medical office tasks and MA coverage.

Required: CA AART certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and 1+ year X-ray experience. You must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and able to float to nearby locations.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred and at least 1-year experience as an X-Ray Technician in a medical practice or similar environment.
• Current California AART certification.
• Knowledge and full understanding of current radiological standards.
• Hands-on experience assisting physicians with procedures and tasks in patient exam rooms, along with a wide range of tasks related to patient care.
• Effective time-management and organizational skills, including prioritizing daily tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, with good listening and professional interactions with patients, physicians, and coworkers.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to float to surrounding locations.

Responsibilities

• Take required patient images with radiographic equipment.
• Communicate clearly with clinicians on a regular basis.
• Assist with other office administrative tasks and coverage for Medical Assistants.
