Job summary

Balance Health in Watsonville, CA seeks a Limited Purpose Xray Technician and Medical Assistant. The role involves taking diagnostic images with available equipment and collaborating with clinicians. The ideal candidate has a CA AART license, at least 1 year as an X-ray Tech, and strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent with associate degree or higher in a related area preferred.
• Current California AART certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
• Knowledge of current radiological standards.
• Hands-on experience assisting Physicians with procedures and tasks in patient exam rooms.

Responsibilities

• Take required patient images using radiographic equipment.
• Communicate clearly and timely with clinicians on a regular basis.
• Assist Physicians with procedures and tasks in patient exam rooms and support patient care.
• Perform office administrative tasks and coverage for Medical Assistants.
