Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Multi-Tech LMRT to support providers and nursing staff with vital signs, EKGs, history taking and specimen collection. You’ll help maintain exam rooms, assist front desk tasks, and ensure accurate records and smooth clinic operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, accreditation in Radiologic Services, and LMRT license, plus 1+ year clinical experience. Certifications in BLS and federal screenings are required shortly after start.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program.
• LMRT license in state of residency is required.
• 1+ year clinical patient care experience is beneficial.
• Be able to obtain BLS certification within 30 days.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, patient history, collect lab specimens and perform EKGs.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms; apply splints, dressings and bandages as directed.
• Check patients in/out of the computer; assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Maintain records and logs for inhouse and sent-out lab work.
• Conduct equipment and supply audits; support clinic staff for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and Medical Staff to maintain high patient satisfaction.

Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will:

• Performs various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff including but limited to taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens and EKGs. May apply splints, dressings and bandages as directed. Prepares, maintains and cleans exam rooms.

• Will check patients in and out of the computer and may assist the Patient Representative in the performance of front desk duties.

• Will assist with front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out of computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.

• Maintains records and logs on activities including inhouse lab work, drug screens and lab work sent out to other labs.

• Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.

• Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

You Should Have:

• High School graduate as required by the state.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.

• Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency

• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial

• Ability to obtain a BLS Certification is required within 30 days of start

• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
