Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Level II X-ray Inspector for the Dover Casting group in Dover, New Jersey. You will operate x-ray equipment to inspect castings and interpret images to customer specifications while maintaining NADCAP requirements and safety standards.

The Midnight shift runs Sunday night through Thursday night 10:30 PM–7:00 AM, with training on days (Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) for several months. A shift premium applies when off-shift.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidate radius within 50 miles of Dover, NJ considered.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Level I certification is required for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and interpret images per customer specs.
• Maintain Level I certification and work toward Level II Inspector certification.
• Locate defects on castings and mark locations for weld/mechanical repair per customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete inspection records as required.
