Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Hampton, VA is seeking an experienced NDT inspector to radiograph and inspect gas turbine castings and related components for flaws and process deviations. Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree.
• Current or previous X-Ray film Level 2 certification with documentation.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a certified film Level 2 inspector.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled items access required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Radiographs and inspects turbine castings and structural members for flaws and deviations.
• Operate x-ray and film processing equipment and document results.
• Set-up, standardize equipment, interpret acceptance criteria, and train staff.
• Perform system checks and calibrations within specified limits.
• Comply with safety rules and attendances policies; perform other duties as assigned.
