Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification (Radiography).
• Valid Alabama state licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required for new graduates.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by providers.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic support.
