Capital Medical in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate radiology equipment, including C-Arm, and produce diagnostic images. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with emphasis on patient safety, effective communication, and high-quality image capture.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an accredited radiology program, and possess a Florida license and ARRT registration.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of anatomy and radiology equipment.
• Must be a true team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. PC skills required.

Responsabilités

• Operate radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, including C-Arm equipment.
• Adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of the specified body area.
• Operate equipment at the computer console for storage, transfer, playback data, generating images, and other means.
• Assure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Position patient on examining table.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation and confidence.
• Examine radiology film for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as deemed appropriate.
