Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Murfreesboro, TN seeks experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team.

You will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and assist with Medical Assistant duties while maintaining patient safety.

This full-time role requires rotating 36-40 hour weeks, with benefits and opportunities for radiology education. TN license, BLS, and ARRT certification preferred; MA experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through the treatment process.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure patient safety and shielding.
• Maintain and document vital signs and medical history as appropriate.
• Assist providers with procedures and follow documentation procedures.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
