Job summary

Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville, AR is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our clinical team. You will perform diagnostic radiography, prepare rooms and equipment, maintain patient safety with proper shielding, greet patients, document vital signs, and assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed.

This full-time role features rotating 12-hour shifts, every-other weekend, competitive pay, and benefits within a growing urgent care network focused on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• AR State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
• Communicate wait times and guide next steps in treatment.
• Provide solutions to patient problems and recognize emergent situations.
• Execute follow-up calls with urgency.
• Assist front desk with check-in/out procedures when necessary.
• Document vital signs, weight, brief history, medications, allergies.
• Assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers.
• Follow documentation procedures for patient visits.
• Perform radiology procedures and quality control to ensure exam quality.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensure radiation safety and shielding.

Education

AR State X-Ray License

BLS Certification

ARRT Certification preferred
