Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute in the Tampa Bay area is hiring Radiologic Technologists to deliver quality patient care and radiographic exams with speed, accuracy, and compassion, following FOI policies.

New grads welcome; ARRT certification and Florida license required; BLS within 90 days; competitive pay ($25–$36 hourly) and benefits; sign-on bonus of $2,500 paid in two installments; opportunities for growth and a team-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital x-ray exams to FOI productivity standards.
• Utilize collimation and filtration as needed.
• Follow physician protocols.
• Maintain daily patient x-ray documentation per Florida regulations.
• Assist physicians with procedures and maintain supplies.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with policies.
• Maintain Florida and ARRT CEU requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Pay or shift range: $26 USD to $35 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description

In this role you will:

The Radiologic Technologist will provide quality patient care and customer service. They will radiograph each patient with speed, efficiency and compassion following FOIs basic policies and procedures.

• Join FOI as an X-Ray Technologist and receive a $2,500 sign-on bonus , paid in two installments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform digital x-ray exams on patients to the level of FOIs productivity standards.
• Utilize collimation on every image and filtration when necessary.
• Follows all physician protocols.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team-player.
• Must be flexible with schedule
• Document and maintain daily patient x-ray exams as required by the State of Florida rules and regulations.
• Maintain radiology injectables for special procedures.
• Assist physicians with Special procedures.
• Order supplies and equipment, ensuring all is kept at a minimum par level.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain Florida License and ARRT License by adhering to CEU responsibilities.
• Complete Daily Totals Sheet.
• Initial Charge Tickets.
• Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute
• All other duties as assigned.

About You:

• New Grads are welcome
• Must be ARRT certified
• Must have current Florida license
• Must display excellent customer services skills and the ability to multi-task
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment
