Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring an X-Ray Technologist to join our Imaging Services team. You will perform digital X-ray exams and deliver quality patient care with speed and compassion, adhering to FOI policies.

New graduates are welcome. ARRT certification and a current Florida license are required, along with BLS within 90 days of employment. A $2,500 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 referral bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification; Florida license; BLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital x-ray exams to FOI productivity standards.
• Use collimation on every image and apply filtration when necessary.
• Follow physician protocols and work independently or as a team.
• Document and maintain daily patient x-ray exams as required by state rules.
• Maintain radiology injectables and assist with special procedures.
• Order supplies and keep par levels; maintain a clean, safe environment.
