ZEISS in Dublin, CA is seeking a Software Engineer to support the development, automation, testing, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes for advanced X-ray source products.

You will build tools that automate production and test activities, acquire and process engineering data, and provide analytical capabilities to characterize product performance and reliability; collaborate with manufacturing, test, reliability, and engineering teams to drive efficiency and

Responsabilidades

Software Development & Manufacturing Automation: Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools that automate manufacturing, engineering, and production-test processes.
Production Test & Engineering Support: Support engineering and manufacturing teams with the execution and troubleshooting of production-test processes; operate and support automated test equipment for X-ray source conditioning and verification.
Engineering Data Analysis: Develop software for analyzing production, calibration, reliability, and product-performance data; aggregate data from multiple products and test stations; perform statistical analysis.
Reliability & Root-Cause Investigation Support: Develop data-collection and analytical tools for product-reliability investigations; correlate data with manufacturing history and test results; prepare datasets for further analysis.
Production & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for software and automation to reduce repetitive manual activities and improve manufacturing efficiency; assist with automated production workflows to integrate software tools.
